Lauren Vogt

Managing Partner/Attorney​

Lauren Vogt co-founded L&L Immigration Law, PLLC in 2012 after realizing her desire to help immigrants in her local community. Initially from South Florida, Lauren has resided in Virginia for approximately 20 years. She is a graduate of the William & Mary School of Law and the University of Virginia, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems and Information Engineering. During her time in law school, Lauren held summer clerkships with the Headquarters Immigration Court in Falls Church, Virginia and the 4th District Court of Appeals in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Lauren speaks Spanish and has successfully represented immigrants and their families before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Arlington Immigration Court, and approximately 25 local Virginia Juvenile & Domestic Relations courts. Lauren specializes in removal defense (including asylum), affirmative asylum applications, family-based petitions, naturalization, and cases involving women and children. 

Each year, Lauren advocates with attorney groups for immigrant rights on Capitol Hill and has met with Congressional representatives and staff about issues important to her clients. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Virginia State Bar Association. Lauren has also volunteered through the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR) Coalition, Catholic Charities of DC, and Ayuda.

Lauren currently resides in Richmond, Virginia. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband, Kevin.
