Kelsey Zhang

Attorney​

Kelsey Abell, an associate attorney, joined L&L Immigration Law, PLLC in fall of 2020. Originally from Alva, Florida, Kelsey is a graduate of the William & Mary School of Law and Florida Gulf Coast University. At Florida Gulf Coast University, Kelsey majored in English with a minor in creative writing. Inspired by her community service throughout college, Kelsey entered William & Mary Law with a passion for public interest law and a dedication to serving others.

 In law school, Kelsey was the co-president of the Comparative Legal Student Scholars, and the managing editor of the William & Mary Journal of Race, Gender, and Social Justice. Kelsey also engaged in pro bono service with William & Mary Law School’s Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic and the Immigration Clinic. The Immigration Clinic was a foundational experience for her career in immigration law.

Kelsey’s work with L&L Immigration Law focuses on removal and asylum defense, along with naturalization and adjustment of status. She is able to represent individuals before the Arlington Immigration Court, the Arlington Asylum Office, and the USCIS Norfolk and Fairfax offices.

Currently, Kelsey lives in Williamsburg, Virginia, with her husband, Benny. In her free time, Kelsey loves reading, making arts and crafts, and preparing for the March-arrival of her first child, Evelyn.
